What this calculator measures
Find the active-patient ceiling a provider can support at your check-in cadence before you over-enroll a GLP-1 or peptide program.
Who it is for
Nurse-led programs setting panel size and renewal cadence.
Primary audience: Nurse-led operators sizing provider panels for GLP-1 check-in cadence
Methodology
Capacity = provider FTE × productive hours/week × 60 × 4.345 weeks/mo ÷ (minutes/check-in × cadence/month).
- Productive hours exclude admin, documentation, and non-monitoring work.
- Cadence is check-ins per patient per month (e.g. 1 = monthly, 0.33 ≈ quarterly) — a clinical decision for your provider.
- Defaults are publicly-reported industry estimates (est.) — replace with your numbers.
- Educational estimate only — not tax, legal, billing, or compliance advice. Verify rates and payer rules with your accountant or biller.
- Models business economics only. Does not recommend, prescribe, or evaluate any peptide, dose, or treatment. ClinicWarden does not endorse or assess the legality of any specific peptide, compound, or program. Verify all clinical, pharmacy, and regulatory requirements with your counsel and state board.
Worked example
Defaults loaded: 1 FTE, 15-min monthly check-in, 30 productive hrs/wk. Compare capacity at different cadences to plan hiring.
How to interpret results
If projected enrollment exceeds capacity, add FTE, raise cadence intervals (where clinically appropriate), or cap enrollment.
Limitations
- Does not assess the legal or regulatory permissibility of any peptide program in your jurisdiction.
- Does not provide dosing, protocol, or clinical guidance.
- Industry figures shown are publicly reported ranges — verify independently; they are not ClinicWarden claims or recommendations.
FAQ
- Does this tell me how often to check in on a patient?
- No. Cadence is a clinical decision for your provider and program. This tool only converts a cadence you choose into a capacity number.
